Extending some 240 m2 on a 1000 m2 plot of land, Casa Piedra is one of the most impressive and authentically Mallorquin properties in our collection, enjoying complete privacy with beautiful natural surroundings and plenty of modern comforts within its historic walls.

Entry to the house is via a light-filled atrium-style area, with a cobbled floor, exposed beams and an original stone archway believed to date back to the 15th century. The interior space is split between the main house and a further two-bedroom annexe with its own double-height sitting room. With five en-suite bedrooms in total, this is a perfect home for two families travelling together or perhaps a multi-generational gathering to celebrate a special occasion. There is a wonderful sense of space and calm throughout, with décor left deliberately understated so as not to detract from the warm natural tones and generous proportions of the original building.

To the front of the finca is a very large courtyard, complete with swimming pool, wooden deck and outdoor kitchen/dining area. The enclosing walls make this space feel both tucked away and timeless, a place to retreat from the outside world and enjoy time with those who matter most to you. This sense of timelessness extends beyond the finca to nearby Búger village, which has escaped the excesses of mass tourism and still offers a more authentic Mallorquin experience with a couple of local restaurants and a weekly market. The old town centres of Pollensa and Alcúdia are close by, and when the beach beckons you’ll find yourself within easy reach of two of the island’s finest: the soft sands of Puerto Pollensa and the turquoise perfection of Playa de Muro are around 20 to 25 minutes’ drive away.

Casa Piedra is one of three individual properties (the others being El Refugio and El Cortijo) on a private country estate close to Búger. Each is fully independent from the others, though they may be booked together to accommodate a large group.

We’ve had a fantastic time celebrating our 60th birthdays with our three children and their young families. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to explore Mallorca and enjoy the great beaches around here. The pool and outside area have meant that we’ve been able to socialise easily whilst still having space for ourselves. Thank you for all the equipment/utensils provided – the second fridge-freezer was very helpful for drinks storage, which were needed as we ‘hit’ a heatwave for most of the fortnight! All in all a great time has been had by everyone.

Nestled in north Mallorca, picturesque Pollensa sits in the lee of the Tramuntana mountains, close to the glorious sandy beach at Puerto Pollensa.
