The builders of Villa Kalithea are well known for their love of traditional architecture and their sensitivity to the Paxiot landscape. This attractive villa is enhanced by a circular tower, which contains the light and airy bedrooms. There are a number of olive trees around the property plus a variety of shrubs and plants.
The villa's position takes advantage of some of best views on Paxos – a landscape of rolling olive groves, the west coast cliffs and the sea.
Gaios is five minutes’ drive away, as is the nearest beach, and there are some marvellous walks in the surrounding area.
Villas Kalithea and Asteri are positioned on the same hillside and whilst maintaining independence and privacy, they can be rented together to provide a spacious venue for an extended family gathering or a group of friends.

Our 4th time on Paxos with Simpsons. As ever, the service form all at the airport, Corfu port and on Paxos was excellent with made the whole travel process as stress free as possible. The outside space of this villa is great whether enjoying an early evening drink or a leisurely dinner looking out over olive tress to the Ionian Sea. There are plenty of lovely tavernas with a short drive and a bakery which is walkable if not too hot. We are already looking forward to next year

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and well-located villa. The accommodation is very comfortable and the outside space is fantastic too. It has a fabulous pool with views of the olive groves and sea in the distance. There is a shallow end to the pool which is great for small children, as long as supervised. The patio makes a perfect spot for evening dinners and watching the sunset. The journey time to the local bakery and supermarket in Magazia is only 10 minutes by car. The service we had from our Simpson rep was also faultless.

What a wonderful villa! We love everything about it and must say it’s the best we’ve stayed in Greece. This is our third visit to Paxos, the first was over 15 years ago! It remains very beautiful and non-touristy, very relaxing, quite sophisticated but typically Greek. Although it is only our second visit to Kalithea, it is about our 12th visit to Paxos over the last 20 years. The villa is perfectly situated and well appointed. Kalithea in Paxos was as described by Simpson Travel – being very quiet and private, yet within walking distance to a good taverna, giving good local food. A bakery and supermarket are nearby. The flight and boat transfer were timed to perfection with little waiting times, the hire car in Paxos was waiting for our arrival, all planned with the usual Simpson expertise. The Rou Estate for our second week was again all planned well, the road to it was meandering and in parts rough but the destination was superb, being high up and looking across to Albania, watching cruise ships glide across the sea. The accommodation wanted for nothing and we enjoyed our peaceful stay. Thanks very much.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Kalithea which is perfectly located to reach all parts of the island. The beautiful outlook, peace and quiet and general calmness sitting looking out at the mesmerising view. Villa Kalithea is a gem of a villa: beautifully located atop the central spine of the island and conveniently situated close to Gaios and Loggos. Its advantages include excellent privacy, wonderful views, all day sunshine, a good house layout and very nice pool and sitting out/sunbathing areas. As one writer of a review said in the guest book, this is the best villa on the island and we would not disagree with that.

This was our second visit to Paxos, the first nine years ago. Our expectations were not disappointed. We love the Greek islands anyway, lovely people, scenery, atmosphere. The food has improved over the years and there are now some exceptional dining places. Gaios and Lakka are much busier with 'boaty' people and day trippers from Corfu (can't blame them). There are some excellent bars in Loggos too and the Greek music on Thursday nights is good fun. Although we could have eaten/cooked in the villa in the evenings, there were only two of and more fun to eat out in different places. The villa was very well equipped and maintained and the Simpson Travel team were extremely helpful and always friendly and available. It was a lovely week, thank you.

Barely eight miles from tip to tail, Paxos is pint-sized perfection.
