This cool and contemporary villa is a luxurious addition to our Hossegor portfolio; beautifully decorated, with stylish furnishings and a high-spec finish throughout. The spacious interiors and traditional layout, with living rooms downstairs and four spacious double bedrooms above, is ideal for families and groups of friends seeking a comfortable base within easy walking distance of Hossegor’s lake and fashionable centre.
Villa Emeraude’s attractive gardens offer a good degree of privacy and are fully enclosed with plenty of lawn space for youngsters to run around. The heated pool has a walk-in shallow end, especially good for little ones who are not yet confident swimmers, while a hard pool-cover gives peace of mind and helps water temperatures remain constant overnight. Alfresco living is a particular highlight of the villa which has a useful outdoor kitchen area with fridge, sink and preparation table, and there’s both a barbecue and firepit, ideal for cooking the catch of the day. Sun-worshippers can stretch out and soak up the rays on the loungers by the pool and lots of comfortable seating options on the covered terrace, mean home-entertaining is a joy at any time of day.
The Local Area
Villa Emeraude is less than a 10-minute stroll from Hossegor’s famous lake, with its tranquil waters, sandy beaches, restaurants and low-key watersports. The town centre is another 10-minutes further on, giving guests at the villa plenty of options when it comes to beach-chic shopping and dining out. The choice of cuisine is impressive, with everything from traditional French fare to modern brasserie-style food and a great choice of healthy-eating options perfectly complement the California-lifestyle vibe.
The world-renowned ocean beaches are short bike ride away, with surfing lessons and equipment hire readily available if any of your party are hoping to find their feet out on the water. But the area is great for outdoor pursuits of all kinds; there’s golf, tennis, paddleboarding, windsurfing, yoga and hundreds of kilometres of cycling trails to explore plus a waterpark with slides and activities for energetic kids and adrenaline-hungry teens.

Once entirely marshland, this region is now a natural playground of sand dunes and beaches, pine forests and picturesque lakes, where walking and cycling are the most pleasurable ways of getting around. An idyllic meeting of France and California with truly spectacular waves and wide-ranging cuisine, upmarket Hossegor thrives on a surfing culture of stylish, laid-back living.
