We're leaving the magic of Avlaki Bay House after a week and are forever changed. We have had the MOST wonderful stay. The villa is the most perfect place we have ever been and we've loved every minute. Completely private, tranquil, beautiful, transformative! From singing karaoke around the floodlit pool while bats take the air to swimming and sunbathing to our heart's content, it's been HEAVEN.

Simpson Travellers, July 2024

Lily the host was so helpful and kind. The housekeepers care, always on time. In Paxos, the Coyne family found their bliss. A summer of moments not amiss.

The Coynes, June 2024

The villa is in the most beautiful setting. Proper peace and tranquillity. Really delightful. You would never get tired of the view and watching the birds drinking from the fabulous infinity pool.

Julia Elliott, June 2023

Wow! What a view! We've had a wonderful week introducing our daughters and their OH's to Paxos, and they love it as much as we do.

Liz and David Cooke, September 2022

Stunning views is the unique selling point of this Villa, I don’t think I’ve seen a better one! Avlaki Bay house is comfortable for 8 people and well positioned to explore the island.

Susie Powell, July 2022

Great views, great pool and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We hired a boat for a couple of days, visited Anti-Paxos and went right round Paxos. Great memories.

Team Mason-Powell, July 2022

Superb quality villa. Excellent accommodation and location. Outstanding pool.

Roger Little, June 2022

First timers with Simpson Travel but will not be our last. All 6 of us found the staff in the office and in Paxos unbelievably helpful. Thank you all.

The Jones, the Stevensons and the Ridings, June 2022

Wonderful to be back at Avlaki Bay House for a third time. We still keep discovering new things in Paxos as well as revisiting favourites.

Caroline Waterman, May 2022

Very comfy and well equipped house with stunning views in a peaceful setting.

William Havelock, May 2022

Lovely Leona was our Paxos rep. and I can't praise her enough, she was local all week and at the end of the mobile 24/7 – she is a gem of an employee for Simpson!

Simpson Traveller, September 2019

We had a lovely return visit to Paxos and Avlaki Bay House. Just as peacefully restful as last year – possibly with even more wild flowers in bloom. We recommend trying all the tavernas and restaurants as the variety is great. If you love walking, get The Bleasdale Walking Map of Paxos. We explored all of Paxos and most of Anti Paxos on foot thanks to his highly detailed map and guide.

Carol Waterman & Gavin Finney, May 2019

Another superb holiday through Simpson Travel for us again this year. We were looked after from start to finish.

D Bence, May 2018

Many thanks to the wonderful Simpson Travel reps Steph, Frances and David who gave us loads of tips on places to go and things to do and even lent us binoculars. Marvellous!

The Saer Family, August 2017

Second time in Paxos with Simpson Travel and another great week. The villa was wonderful. We loved the gorgeous views of the sea and the pool was great. So quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be coming back to Paxos, it's a truly special place! Thank you to Simpson Travel for an amazing week at this villa.

Mrs Chant, May 2017

The car hire at Paxos was the best in the world, just a name on the windscreen! Bliss! Made a real difference after a long journey. Food on Paxos so much better than Corfu. Loved the island and the location of Avlaki Bay house was amazing.

Mrs Lane, August 2016

Excellent service from all as ever, the boat strike was handled such that our journey to Paxos was a pleasure. It is so relaxing travelling with Simpson Travel because you know that everything will be taken care of in the most professional manner. Being welcomed back as old friends by the Paxos team on our arrival was really delightful. The little gift left for us prior to departure was a lovely touch. We much prefer the Heathrow Sunday flights. After years of travelling with you, it is refreshing to be able to say that your high standards have remained consistent. Simpson Travel has always got the big things right but it is their attention to the small details that sets them apart from other companies. We look forward to travelling back to Paxos with you in September.

Mrs Morgan, May 2016

From start to finish the service you receive from Simpson Travel is second to none. Mr Cudworth, September 2015

A splendid week in the most delightful spot in Paxos. Thank you. We particularly loved watching the eagles and dolphins from the balcony. Snorkelling is fantastic here and we loved every taverna we visited. A wonderful holiday. Avlaki Bay on Paxos, lovely house, beautiful island. The attention to detail by Simpson Travel meant that this was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. Thank you.

Mrs Bell, July 2013

Villa was lovely.

Barely eight miles from tip to tail, Paxos is pint-sized perfection. The only way to get here is by boat from Corfu, which rules out mass development and makes room for a true luxury villa holiday experience. Beloved by the boating crowd, there's a definite buzz in the main summer months and an excellent choice of restaurants that cater for visiting flotilla.

There are few better ways of relaxing than on a luxury holiday in Paxos, where days fill up beautifully with sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and dining in style, the sea just metres from your table. Amble through ancient olive groves and you’ll catch glimpses of startlingly turquoise bays, the dramatic west-coast cliffs or the Epiros Mountains. In spring, there’s also a haze of purple honesty, wild irises and lilies and a sky that’s alive with birdlife, from hawks to skylarks.

Complete the picture with a stay in one of our handpicked luxury villas or our unique Adult Only Simpson Hotels and make the most of this peaceful island.
