We have been visiting Agni cottage for many years and this is the first time for sometime that we have not hired a car. The help we received from Simpsons regarding shopping and taxis was excellent. Over the years we have become good friends with the Corfu staff,especially Bev, Jackie and Debbie. Although we were not part of their remit we would like to say a special thanks for them making sure we were OK and also coming to see us. Part of the pleasure for us in returning so frequently to Corfu is renewing those friendships and we would like to express our gratitude and thanks to them.
Our accommodation in Agni Cottage was wonderful. Excellent location in a busy bay with some very good and varied tavernas close by. Water access by small boat and water taxis was also very easy. The 'Simpson Travel' experience for us was first class. All very efficient and they made the whole holiday booking process very easy. The resort rep (Anna Demote) was excellent, with good local knowledge and was very easy to contact. Would highly recommend them.
Brilliant R&R for both of us. Perfect place to just let the world roll by for a few days. Lovely people. Tavernas on the doorstep, water at your feet! Special place. Long may the magic work.

We have just returned from an idyllic week at Agni Cottage. The property is beautiful inside and out, it’s small but with everything you could possibly need and in a perfect location on the shore of the bay. We enjoyed eating on the terrace, reading in the hammock, listening to the sea, snorkelling in the bay, walking along the coastal path, watching the boats come in and out and sampling the many delights of the local tavernas. Nicolas was our favourite. It is a lively bay and the boardwalk to the tavernas/beach/coastal path is directly in front of the property so lots of passers by, perfect for people watching.
Because we have been coming to Agni cottage for so long it is difficult to say anything new. We have returned every year because it is such a unique place. However, having met people who are staying in different places eg The Saints, I realise that the cottage may not be ideal for everyone. But if you don’t mind the lack of privacy and enjoy being part of the bay community there is nowhere comparable. It is my ‘happy place’ and I cannot wait to return.
We stayed 10 days in this most beautiful house here on Agni beach. Louise had a good style in the house and we had fun and felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. We are looking forward to coming again.

We had another lovely holiday at Agni Cottage. It was so nice to be back, to be able to relax in beautiful surroundings and to look at the view across the sea. Jackie was superb as usual & managed to get some extra groceries for our arrival which we would have struggled to locate ourselves.

There is nowhere quite like Agni Cottage - close enough to the sea to hear its murmur and yet perfectly positioned so that you can watch the world go by from the comfort of you hammock. What is not to love and return for year after year!
How much we had looked forward to our 2022 return. As easy as slipping on favourite shoes, Agni is a beautiful allowing us to relax in our would-be second home! Thank you to Jackie our concierge and Louise for keeping Agni cottage as perfect as ever. We will be back.
A truly wonderful cottage. We had seen it many times from the sea and walked past it on many occasions. To have finally stayed here was adream come true and we have enjoyed ourselves so much.
First saw this lovely cottage some 30 years ago and always promised ourselves we would return to stay and now here we are. It has not disappointed us!

Just returned from our second holiday at Agni Cottage. We fell in love with Corfu and discovered Agni Bay three years ago and it’s been a very long two years waiting to get back due to Covid! Simpson Travel was as efficient and helpful as. Agni Cottage is perfect in every way, as gardeners the simple task of watering and deadheading the flowers each day was as demanding as any holiday activity needed to be for us! We swam in that inviting sea every day and enjoyed the most delicious food and service at Agni Taverna, Toulas and Nikolas Taverna. Thanks also to Spiros for providing Jamie with his essential paddle boards! The boat watching was as fascinating as per our previous visit, this time we thankfully remembered the binoculars. With everything we needed literally a stone’s throw away we didn’t travel much, although a first night sea taxi (thank you, Agni Boats) to The White House at Kalami got our holiday off to the perfect start. A week goes too quickly but it was the healing and reviving week we had so longed for and it was perfect. Booked for next year already, thank you Simpson and to the marvellous Agni Cottage owners.
We had such a lovely, relaxing holiday at Agni Cottage. We spent a lot of time just chilling out and admiring the beautiful view. We went swimming most days which was extremely pleasant. The staff in the three Tavernas along the beach are immensely friendly and helpful . We hired a boat one day from Agni Boats. We then set off to explore the nearby bays, each one charmingly attractive. The Simpson’s rep, Diane was immensely kind and helpful, with an in-depth knowledge of the Island that was invaluable. Simpson Travel offer a wonderful service. Everyone is so helpful and patient right from initial enquirers to the actual holiday. It always seems as if nothing is too much trouble and they have made each holiday we’ve had with them both special and memorable.
We’ve had another lovely fortnight at Agni Cottage again. It would be hard to find a more idyllic spot. We’re returning home regretful once more that we have to leave. We’ve had a perfect time with lots of rest and relaxation. A huge thank you to Diane for looking after us so well and we hope the charity walk goes well and that we’ll see you next year.
Our first holiday with Simpson and although we went to a familiar destination, the entire experience and every detail from booking to arrival and subsequent departure was delightfully smooth. The accommodation was exactly as described and met all expectations; we’d certainly book with Simpson again for the reassurance of our holiday arrangements being in the best hands!
What a very special place – the views across the bay are timeless, the waters – pure. This little cottage is a cosy haven, the loggia shelters you from all the weathers – the ‘blue birds of happiness’ nest above and flit in and out, feeding their young. What bliss! Plus the local tavernas – especially Agni Taverna – offering the equivalent of foods from the gods. So much to enjoy. Thanks to Di for her cheery expertise – the little touches that travelling with Simpson offers. Another superb visit to Corfu, another memorable trip.
We loved the place. It was exactly what we wanted. The accommodation was precious! Although small there was plenty of storage and the décor was lovely.

A most enjoyable holiday in Agni Cottage. Its position, right on the beach at Agni Bay, is perfect if one likes to experience the liveliness of the comings and goings of boats and people arriving at the three tavernas. Early mornings and late evenings the bay returns to being blissfully quiet, and probably reminiscent of how small Greek fishing villages were many years ago.
We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. We didn't have any problems but we had the security of knowing that the local Simpson Travel staff would help us in any way that they could should we need them.
Back again to Corfu (first visit 16 years ago) – an irresistible draw it seems! Agni is pretty special, and has pretty special people too. Such a relaxed atmosphere with a remarkable combo of climate, food, sea and serenity. We have been so well looked after with kindness and consideration. The visit to vibrant, colourful Corfu town is such fun, but the essential return to Agni brings peace to the soul. We may well be back...
We returned as promised and Agni did not let us down! A better spot you cannot find! Debbie from Simpson Travel was superb and we are so grateful to them for the venue but also for Debbie. We swam, ate and generally faffed about as per usual. Goodbye Agni – perhaps we'll come again in one of those fabulous boats!!

What a fantastic experience we had with Simpson Travel from the booking service (I have specific medical issues and this was not a problem to them) to the villa which was breathtaking and right up to arriving home. Faultless. The resort representatives went above and beyond to make our holiday as good as it was. It was perfect. Thank you isn't enough.
The views from the cottage remain unchanged so does the welcome, warmth and friendliness of all those people who work here and call it home. We have been coming to the cottage for over 15 years and it is the location and the people that bring us back so often. A happy two weeks, thankfully we shall see everyone in October.
